Insignificant

Assalamualaikum wbt

Alhamdulillah, it's 2013 now, and let me start my first 2013 post with Bismillahirrahmanirrahim....In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Alhamdulillah 2012 has been an amazing year, witnessing our ups and downs while adapting with Malaysian style of learning after leaving Dublin for good. (psst, yesterday entah kenapa, suddenly i miss nak makan taco fries huhu)
So many things happened, and yet it made me to know my Lord and myself better. Indeed, we are weak and need Allah most of the time.

Ok back to work! Just now we had a talk organized by PMCISOC entitled 'The Signs of God' given by an astronomer I would say, who is doing master and PhD on astrology. He is a Professor from USM, and subhanallah I am telling you that this is my first time listening to a talk directly given by the person of the field.

Previously, I used to listen or attending lectures about the Creator and His Signs given by a person who is well experience in general Science, either a doctor or an ustaz. Well, this Prof didn't really gave us super facts that had never been mentioned by other scholars before, as he spoke on common things that we already knew and had read somewhere. But knowing that he is the man of astrology, surely he knows best on what he told us/showed us pictures.

And only after his lecture, by Allah's will alhamdulillah, I finally understand this verse of Quran that made me wonder back in 2009 when I was in KMB. I still remember asking my roommate about this verse,
"The creation of the heavens and the earth are greater than the creation of mankind. But most of the people do not know"
[40:57]

The creation of human is extremely complex, and I thought we are the most complex of all creation. That is why human being is chosen to worship Him by prayers, compared to other creation which Allah doesn't ask to do so. As we know, our body works by system. This system is being explained under physiology, only after we know the anatomy of the human body. All of our systems work so harmony to maintain our survival. There's a lot to learn from these systems and I concluded that 'if the creation is already complex, the Creator must be more complex and perfect'.

And today, the Prof explained how complex it is our Milky Way galaxy starting from our very own solar system and there are 100 billion more galaxies in the universe, I was stunned and feels like-'Yes, this is it. This is exactly what Allah meant in His verse that I've been wondering for so long. Subhanallah, Rabbana maa khalaqta haaza bathila, Subhanaka faqina azaabannar'

These big big things are so little that we know about it. Compared to us, as human being, our size are too small to be significant before His eyes. Allahuakbar..

You see, no matter how small we are, Allah sheds us His Mercy everyday....
Allah gives us rezki to survive...
Allah grants us love to live our life better.

And what is our value in front of Allah?

It's purely from TAQWA.

O' Allah, allow us to be among the muttaqeen....
