Assalamualaikum
wbt my dear sisters fillah,
may all of you in the pink of health and iman.
Alhamdulillah, all praises to our Lord who has give us chance to life in this
world, for us to feel and enjoy living in His deen as our way of life. Peace be
upon our beloved Prophet Rasulullah SAW, the Last and the Leader of all
Messengers that conveyed the message of Lailahailallah, until it reached us
although thousand years had passed by.
Sisters fillah,
Alhamdulillah we
are born as Muslim and our parents are practising Muslim since they were young.
We are surrounded by the Islamic culture that encourages us to learn the Quran,
respect others and practise good manners. However, have we ever wondered that
the way of life that we live today is merely because of our surroundings?
Everyone do the same thing, so we don’t want to do different. It is a cliché as
a human being psychologically to follow the flow of the majority in a
particular community.
It doesn’t mean
that it’s wrong to follow the crowd, but it may, in a significant way, affects
the reason why we have to do such practise ie solah, fasting in the month of
Ramadhan, pay for zakat and other obligatory
ibadah.
Allah SWT says
in the Quran in Surah Az-Zariyat verse 56,
“We have not created jinns and mankind except
to worship Me”
Based on this
short but meaningful verse, we have been told by Allah the purpose of life in
this temporary world: To worship Him, the Only One God.
Yes, I believe
in God and you believe in God’s existence as well. I pray, I fast and you do
these things too. I read the Quran and wear my hijab, and you also do the same
alhamdulillah. But who told you to do these at the first place? And you
practise because you’re being told to practise or because you know that you need to
practise?
Subhanallah.
These are among the big questions that we should concern about. I’m not asking
you to not do ibadah if you’re unsure why do you have to do it, but i’m calling
you to know the purpose of doing it.
And it begins
with the letter A.
ALLAH.
.:: memperkasakan jiddiyah, kerana Allah ::.
